1. WHAT IS YOUR NAME & POSITION AT MODERN MANAGED IT?
My name is Misty Porter, and I am the Business Development Manager at Modern Managed IT.
2. WHAT DOES YOUR JOB AT MODERN MANAGED IT ENTAIL?
As the Business Development Manager, I am in charge of identifying potential new clients, assessing potential client’s networks, and proposing a technology roadmap for them. Generally, I work on finding companies that can benefit from our services and earn their business.
3. WHAT DREW YOU TO WORK FOR MODERN MANAGED IT?
I was drawn to work for Modern Managed IT because of the amazing people I’d get to interact with daily! Modern Managed IT strives to delight customers with every interaction, and it seemed like a great culture that I wanted to be a part of.
4. FAVORITE PART OF WORKING AT MODERN MANAGED IT?
My favorite part of working at Modern Managed IT is the true start-up nature of the company. Every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow as an IT professional. I also love knowing that the work I do has a direct impact on the success of the company as a whole.
5. FUN FACT ABOUT YOU:
Growing up, I used to wish I had an imaginary friend, which is funny because you could just imagine one, but not me.
6. FAVORITE LOCAL BUSINESS:
Currently, my favorite restaurant is called 1908 in Cibolo; however, I also enjoy El Nopalito in New Braunfels. They are both delicious spots you have to try!
7. FAVORITE BREAKFAST TACO
I like to start my mornings with a bean, cheese, and bacon taco.
